
National Academy for Medical Sciences is the first private college among few that offered four year B.Sc nursing program (BSN). It was founded in 2001 AD by Dr Hari Nath Acharya and Dr Kalyan Raj Pandey, most experienced ex policy makers of Ministry of Health and Population. Since then, National Academy for Medical Sciences is offering quality education to B.Sc Nursing students through highly qualified faculties. The lecturers we employ come from different backgrounds and from renowned organizations, and are specially chosen for their experience as well as for their teaching excellence. B.Sc Nursing (BSN) Course
BSN course is the toughest course with four academic years. The course includes basic science, medical, surgical and nursing science subjects. It also includes the subjects related to educational science, leadership & management and research & biostatistics, means simple to complex one. All the courses are based on theory and practical which directly deals with human health and illness. BSN course has wide scope of work; graduates can work in hospitals, academics or community setting wherever their interest is.
Overall objective of BSN course is to produce competent graduates with basic and advanced knowledge and practical skills necessary to deliver high quality health services needed for the country.
Entry Requirements:

Candidate must have completed intermediate science or 10+2 or equivalent with Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math and English as main subjects and should have secured minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate.

Entrance Examination
There will be entrance examination of one paper (English 50 mark and hundred marks of nursing science /health science related major subject area). The question will be of multiple choices. Duration of examination will be 3 hours. Candidates must obtain at least 50% marks to pass entrance examination. Candidates will be selected from obtained mark within merit basis.
